The Tiger II tank, also known as the "Königstiger" (Royal Tiger), is one of the most recognizable symbols of World War II and can now become part of your collection!
The Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B Tiger II tanks, introduced into service in 1944, were some of the most powerful machines of World War II. Their massive construction with armor up to 180mm at the front and a powerful 88mm KwK 43 L/71 gun made them extremely effective in combat. With its 700hp Maybach HL230 engine, the tank was capable of reaching a speed of 38 km/h on the road.
Despite its impressive combat performance, the Tiger II was plagued by technical problems, engine and running gear failures that limited its effectiveness on the battlefield. A total of around 492 units of this tank were produced and took part in many key battles, such as the Battle of the Bulge and fighting on the Eastern Front.
The model, created from 500 precisely fitted blocks, captures all the characteristic features of this heavy German tank, which was one of the most powerful combat vehicles of its time.
